Dan Remenyi


Dan Remenyi is a Visiting Professor in Information Systems Management at the School of Systems and Data Studies at Trinity College Dublin. He is also a member of the external faculty at Henley Business School.


His principal academic interest is in research methodology and the sociology of research. He teaches a wide range of subjects in this field. He works extensively with research candidates and their supervisors at both doctoral and masters level. His work has been published in some 30 text books and 50 peer refereed papers. Some of his books have been translated into Chinese, Japanese and Romanian.


He has worked as a consultant with many organisations over the years including banks, manufacturers, distributors, retailers and educational institutions. He holds a B Soc Sc, MBA and PhD.

 





 
 





 



George Onofrei


George Onofrei BEcon BBS MBS is based at the School of Business, Letterkenny Institute of Technology, Ireland. He completed his Masters by research on  Manufacturing Planning and Control Systems and is currently pursuing a PhD at UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, in the area of Operations/Supply Chain Management.


George has been active in the field of business consulting especially in the use of ICT to facilitate business processes and continuous improvement. His research interests include: performance management in manufacturing and service industries, management of dynamic capabilities, continuous and collaborative improvement, manufacturing and service strategy.


George also has an academic interest in research methods both quantitative and qualitative.



Joe English


Joseph English BA MSc PhD is the Director of the Mathematics Learning Centre at Letterkenny Institute of Technology, Ireland.  His teaching activities include mathematics, statistics and supervising post-graduate students. Previous to this he was the national co-ordinator of the mathematics support service for the Department of Education and Science, Ireland.


He received his Doctoral degree in the area of mathematics education from Loughborough University, UK and has published in international journals. He is a research associate with the National Centre for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching & Learning in Ireland.


His research focus is in the field of mathematics education particularly mathematical challenges encountered by adult returnees in third level education.
