Editor-In-Chief

Image   Ettore Bolisani (Laurea in Electronic Engineering, PhD in Innovation Management) is Associate Professor at the University of Padua (Italy). He was Research Associate at Manchester University, and Visiting Professor at Coventry University, Kaunas Technological University, Universidad Politecnica de Cartagena. His research has focused on knowledge management for at least 20 years, with a special emphasis on topics such as: communities of practice, KM social media, knowledge-intensive business services, KM strategies, and KM in education. He was Chair of the European Conference on Knowledge Management in 2009 and 2018. He is president of the International Association for Knowledge Management (IAKM), and co-editor (with Meliha Handzic) of the Springer Book Series on “Knowledge Management and Organisational Learning”.
     

Associate Editors

Image   Constantin Bratianu is professor of Strategic Management and Knowledge Management at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, Romania. He is the founding Director of the Research Centre for Intellectual Capital and Entrepreneurship, and the former Director of the UNESCO Department for Business Administration, Bucharest University of Economic Studies. He was a Visiting Professor at Universities in USA, Japan, Austria, Hungary, and Egypt. Constantin is a member of the American Academy of Management, International Association of Knowledge Management, and Society for Business Excellence. His main academic interests are: knowledge dynamics, knowledge management, intellectual capital, learning organizations, and strategic management.
     
Image   Maurizio Massaro, has been an Assistant Professor at Udine University since 2008. Before joining academia, he was a consultant and served also as Vice President in a Research Center in the field of metal analysis. He has been a Visiting Professor at Florida Gulf Coast University and Leicester University. Maurizio’s research interests cover the topic of Intellectual Capital, Knowledge Management and research methods. Maurizio has published extensively on these topics in leading journals.
     
Image   Susanne Durst is  a Full Professor of Management at the Department of Business Administration at Tallinn University of Technology (Estonia) and a Full Professor of Business Administration at the School of Business at the University of Skövde (Sweden). Her research interests include small business management, knowledge (risk) management, innovation management and responsible digitalization. She has been conducting several national and international research projects on knowledge management, SME business transfers, marketing, corporate governance, and innovation management. Her work has been recognised through different awards, including an Emerald Literati Award „Outstanding Paper“ in 2020 and has been published in international peer-reviewed journals.
     
Image   Maria Serena Chiucchi is Full Professor of Management Accounting at Università Politecnica delle Marche, in Ancona, Italy. She has been a Visiting Professor at University of Sydney Business School. Her research interests include intellectual capital, management control and qualitative research methods with particular reference to the case study method. In addition, over the last fifteen years, she has been conducting several interventionist research projects regarding management accounting, Intellectual Capital and more recently, Integrated Reporting. She has authored books, book chapters and Journal articles on these topics.
     
Image   Rosa Lombardi is Associate Professor in Accounting & Business Plan at Sapienza University of Rome, Rome, Italy. She had her Ph.D. in Business Administration at University of Cassino and Southern Lazio. She’s coordinator of the research group STEDIC SIDREA “Smart technologies, digitalization and intellectual capital. Rosa’s research interests cover the topic of financial and non-financial reporting, sustainability accounting, intellectual capital, management accounting, smart technologies, ethics & corruption prevention, entrepreneurial universities, business planning. Rosa has published her researches in leading academic journals.

International Advisory Board

Image   John Dumay is Associate Professor in Accounting at Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia. Originally a consultant he joined academia after completing his award winning PhD in 2008. John’s research specialties are intellectual capital, knowledge management, non-financial reporting, management control, research methodologies and academic writing. John is a highly cited author and has published over 60 peer reviewed articles in leading academic journals.
     
Image   Leif Edvinsson is probably best known as the first Chief Knowledge Officer in the world as he served as Corporate Director for Intellectual Capital, Skandia AFS and architect of the Skandia Future Centre. He currently serves as Professor of Intellectual Capital, University of Lund, and the founder and CEO of UNIC - Universal Networking Intellectual Capital AB. He is also special advisor to the Swedish Cabinet on the effects of the new digital economy, a special advisor to the United Nations International Trade Center and is a co-founder of the Swedish Coalition of Service Industries.
     
Image   James Guthrie is a professor at Macquarie University in Australia and a fractional Professor at Bologna University in Italy. His research and teaching interests include public sector accounting, social and environmental reporting and auditing, and intellectual capital and non-financial reporting. James has published widely in international journals and is the co-editor of Accounting, Auditing and Accountability Journal.
     
Image   Christian Nielsen, Ph.d., is Professor at Aalborg University in Denmark and the Norwegian Inland University of Applied Sciences. He currently serves as Head of Department at the Department of Business and Management at Aalborg University. He is also the founding Editor of the Journal of Business Models as well as Editorial Board member of AAAJ and EJKM. Since initiating the establishment of the Business Design Center (BDC) in 2011, over 300 companies ranging from local start-ups and SMEs to multinationals with a global presence have seen the value of collaborating with BDC. Christian’s work has been published in leading international scholarly journals.
     
Image   Göran Roos is a Visiting Professor at Australian Industrial Transformation Institute, Flinders University, Adelaide; a Stretton Fellow appointed by the City of Playford at University of Adelaide; and Adjunct Professor at the Institute of Economics and Management, Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University. Göran is a fellow of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering (ATSE) and of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA).
