Helen Rothberg is a Professor of Strategic Management in the School of Management at Marist College, and Senior Faculty in the Academy of Competitive Intelligence. She holds a PhD and M.Phil from The City University Graduate Center, MBA from Baruch College, and a BA from Queens College. In 2018 she was inducted into the CI Fellows. She is the 2011 recipient of the Board of Trustee’s Distinguished Teaching Award. In 2017 Simon & Schuster published her book “The Perfect Mix: Everything I Know About Leadership I Learned as a Bartender”. It is now in a second printing. She is a contributing author to Money Magazine. With Scott Erickson, she published From Knowledge to Intelligence: Creating Competitive Advantage in the Next Economy: Elsevier Butterworth-Heinemann, in 2005, and Intelligence in Action: Strategically Managing Knowledge Assets: Palgrave McMillan in 2012. Other publications include Competitive Intelligence Review, Competitive Intelligence Magazine, Electronic Journal of Knowledge Management, International Journal of Learning and Intellectual Capital, International Journal of Knowledge Management and the Journal of Knowledge Management. Helen’s research interests include the intersection between competitive intelligence and knowledge management and industry profit pools and industry evolution. She is the principal consultant for HNR Associates, a network of knowledge focusing on strategic change, and leadership development. |

Scott Erickson is Charles A. Dana Professor of Marketing in the School of Business at Ithaca College, Ithaca, NY where he has also served as Interim Associate Dean and long stints as Department Chair. In addition, he teaches at both the Nolan School of Hotel Administration and the Dyson School of Management at Cornell University. He has published widely on big data, intellectual capital, and business analytics, including four books and numerous refereed journal articles. His most recent book, Marketing for a Digital World, was published by Flip Learning in late 2022. Scott has received two Fulbright awards, serving as a Visiting Research Chair at Queen’s University, Kingston, ON, Canada and as a Fulbright—National Science Foundation Arctic Scholar at Akureyri University, Iceland. He was named a Faculty Excellence Award recipient at Ithaca College in 2015, and was selected for a Lifetime Achievement Award as a faculty advisor in 2021 at the American Marketing Association Intercollegiate Conference. |

Maurizio Massaro, Associate Professor (Department of Management), Ca Foscari University of Venice. Before joining academia, he was a consultant and served also as Vice President in a Research Center in the field of metal analysis. He has been a Visiting Professor at Florida Gulf Coast University and Leicester University. Maurizio’s research interests cover the topic of Intellectual Capital, Knowledge Management and research methods. Maurizio has published extensively on these topics in leading journals. |

Susanne Durst is a Full Professor of Management at the Department of Business Administration at Reykjavik University (Iceland) and a Full Professor of Business Administration at the School of Business at the University of Skövde (Sweden). Her research interests include knowledge (risk) management, innovation management, responsible digitalization and sustainable business development in the context of small entrepreneurial companies. She has been conducting several national and international research projects on knowledge management, SME business transfers, marketing, corporate governance, and innovation management. Her work has been recognised through different awards, including an Emerald Literati Award „Outstanding Paper“ in 2020 and has been published in international peer-reviewed journals. |

Maria Serena Chiucchi is Full Professor of Management Accounting at Università Politecnica delle Marche, in Ancona, Italy. She has been a Visiting Professor at University of Sydney Business School. Her research interests include intellectual capital, management control and qualitative research methods with particular reference to the case study method. In addition, over the last fifteen years, she has been conducting several interventionist research projects regarding management accounting, Intellectual Capital and more recently, Integrated Reporting. She has authored books, book chapters and Journal articles on these topics. |

Leif Edvinsson is probably best known as the first Chief Knowledge Officer in the world as he served as Corporate Director for Intellectual Capital, Skandia AFS and architect of the Skandia Future Centre. He currently serves as Professor of Intellectual Capital, University of Lund, and the founder and CEO of UNIC - Universal Networking Intellectual Capital AB. He is also special advisor to the Swedish Cabinet on the effects of the new digital economy, a special advisor to the United Nations International Trade Center and is a co-founder of the Swedish Coalition of Service Industries. |

James Guthrie is a professor at Macquarie University in Australia and a fractional Professor at Bologna University in Italy. Christian Nielsen, Ph.d., is Professor at Aalborg University in Denmark and the Norwegian Inland University of Applied Sciences. He currently serves as Head of Department at the Department of Business and Management at Aalborg University. He is also the founding Editor of the Journal of Business Models as well as Editorial Board member of AAAJ and EJKM. Since initiating the establishment of the Business Design Center (BDC) in 2011, over 300 companies ranging from local start-ups and SMEs to multinationals with a global presence have seen the value of collaborating with BDC. Christian’s work has been published in leading international scholarly journals. |
